About the Webconference

The senior citizen population in the United States is set to reach 90 million by 2050, driving demand in fields such as health care, marketing, financial planning, and interior design. Although 10,000 baby boomers celebrate their 65th birthday each day, more than 80 gerontology programs have shuttered in the last 10 years.

The most resilient aging services programs have repackaged their content to appeal to encore career seekers, leveraging relationships with business, design, and allied health programs throughout the university.

This webconference explores several senior-focused programs that appeal to late-career professionals seeking a fulfilling encore career, with ideas for low-cost marketing and recruiting strategies.
