Wisconsin: University names first female president

Carroll University has appointed its first female president, Sara Ray Stoelinga. Stoelinga, who currently serves as director of the University of Chicago's Urban Education Institute and a clinical professor of the university's committee on education, will be Carroll's 15th president. She will replace Douglas Hastad, who is retiring June 30, 2017. Stoelinga begins July 1, 2017 (Stanley, Milwaukee Business Journal, 11/29).
