Dick Whiteside, Ph.D., serves as Dean for Strategic Enrollment Management at Royall & Company and has been a well-recognized and active leader in the field for more than 40 years.
Throughout the latter part of his career, he has helped more than 200 institutions design sustainable enrollment management, student recruitment and student success programs. Previously, Dick served as Vice President for Enrollment Management at Tulane University for more than 13 years.
Before joining Tulane, Dick was on the staffs of the University of Hartford for 14 years (Associate Vice President for Academic Administration), The Johns Hopkins University, City University of New York and Pace University. He has a B.A. from Manhattan College and holds two graduate degrees from The Johns Hopkins University (Student Personnel Services and Applied Behavioral Sciences).
His Doctor of Philosophy degree in Educational Leadership was conferred by the University of Connecticut. Dick resides in Richmond, Virginia, and in Moultonborough, New Hampshire. He and his wife, Kathy, have two adult daughters.
