Melinda Salaman is a Director of Strategic Research with EAB. She specializes in student communication, experience design, and retention strategies, particularly in the community college sector. As a member of the Community College Executive Forum research team, Melinda led research to produce best practice reports on accelerating developmental math completion, next-generation high school partnerships, and preventing early attrition by optimizing the new student intake process.
Before joining the firm, Melinda worked at Koszyn & Company, a boutique consulting firm supporting non-profit arts and theater companies with fundraising, program development, and strategic planning. At the Clinton Foundation, she coordinated with multi-national organizations to develop education programming as part of corporate social responsibility portfolios, with a focus on girls’ and women’s issues. Melinda attended Williams College, where she earned a degree in sociology.
