About Michael

Michael Fischer is a senior analyst on the Facilities Forum. He works primarily with senior facilities officers to surface best practices for facilities operations on college and university campuses. His research focuses on deferred maintenance, outsourcing, and workforce talent development.

Michael joined EAB in 2016. Prior to that he worked for multiple years in the education sector, teaching in both the United States and United Kingdom. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, where he specialized in political economy and classical studies.
