As Vice President for Strategic Marketing, Michael oversees all aspects of marketing for EAB. In practice, that means it's his job to help the world understand EAB's capabilities, impact, and potential. Since Michael can't personally be involved in the hundreds of studies, videos, blog posts, and infographics that EAB produces annually, that also requires him to work with a large and talented team: editors, content strategists, designers, marketing gurus, and website development masterminds.
Every so often, Michael also gets the chance to create content himself, drawing on his past experience as a researcher and the ongoing learning of EAB's many education professionals.
Michael earned an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, where he was named a Fuqua Scholar. He received his undergraduate degree in English and Russian magna cum laude from Williams College. Prior to joining the Advisory Board, Michael worked as a health care reporter, serving as congressional correspondent for the policy newsletter Health News Daily and European editor for the drug industry weekly The Pink Sheet.
