Pete Talbot is a Managing Director of Strategic Research with EAB. Mr. Talbot has oversight of the Independent School Executive Forum as well as the University Systems Forum.
Previously, Mr. Talbot served in The Advisory Board Company’s Talent Development division, providing leadership and management training for a wide variety of constituencies at hospitals and health care systems. During this time, Mr. Talbot was responsible for research on Disruptive Behavior, Innovation, and Nurse-Physician Relations among other topics.
Prior to joining the Advisory Board, Mr. Talbot worked for an educational non-profit called the Close Up Foundation, whose mission is to promote more active and informed citizenship. In this capacity, Mr. Talbot served as a curriculum designer and trainer working with students and teachers from across the United States and the world. During his time at the Close Up Foundation, Mr. Talbot managed a grant from the U.S. Office of Insular Affairs to provide civic education and civil society building for students and teachers from the U.S. affiliated islands and territories of Guam, CNMI, American Samoa, Palau, the Federated States of Micronesia, and the Marshall Islands.
Mr. Talbot graduated from the University of Delaware with an Honors degree in International Relations and minors in Economics and Spanish. As an undergraduate he completed an Honors thesis on U.S. Policy in Bosnia, and was elected Phi Beta Kappa.
