Franziska Shaw is an Executive Director at EAB, where she oversees new market and product development, including the Independent School Executive Forum. Ms. Shaw began her career as a member of the Advisory Board’s founding team and since then has played many leadership and general management roles as the firm has grown to a membership of 4,000+ of the world’s largest health systems, universities, and schools.
As the leader of the firm’s flagship Health Care Advisory Board program for many years, she directed the firm’s research on strategy, innovation, corporate governance and operations for health system CEOs. Since 2000, Franziska has launched, developed and led several new health care practice areas for the firm in consulting, talent development, international research and data. Ms. Shaw most recently led the firm’s international division and also served as Executive Entrepreneur in the firm’s corporate strategy division.
Ms. Shaw is a graduate of Harvard Business School and holds an MA in Russian area studies from Harvard and a BA in Russian and Political Science from Middlebury College.
