The STEM economy is growing, and administrators at many institutions are attempting to increase enrollment in STEM programs and align educational offerings with the job market. This brief outlines programs institutions employ to encourage students to select STEM majors, initiatives to overcome barriers to success in STEM fields, and methods administrators use to connect graduates and to job opportunities.
