Game-based learning incorporates game elements such as role-playing, scavenger hunts, video games, and board games to promote accelerated learning, higher participation rates, and decision-making and problem-solving skills. This report examines types of games instructors commonly integrate into curricula and their learning outcomes. In addition, this report focuses on the resources necessary to support game-based learning.
