'Look before you leap' when partnering with online program enablement vendors

While it might have seemed unimaginable a decade ago, nearly every college and university we work with today has at least one online degree program. Most hope to expand their online enrollments significantly over the next several years, as pressure to reverse the decline in residential enrollment increases and the higher education marketplace becomes more and more competitive.

As a result, dozens of online program enablement vendors have emerged on the scene to help traditional program leaders (deans and department heads) and occasionally institutional leaders (provosts and presidents) create, manage, and expand their online offerings.
