As campaigns continue to grow longer, presidential terms in higher education have shortened. At any given time one-quarter of United States' institutions are experiencing a presidential transition. Although this fluctuation in leadership has increased in frequency, a clear path for advancement leaders during presidential transitions has yet to be carved. This webconference will seek to define advancement's role in a presidential transition, exploring donor relationship management, alumni outreach, and capital campaign management during times of change in higher education leadership.
