The number one up-at-night issue for chief advancement officers

We've been hearing concerns about constituent engagement and the viability of the long-term donor pipeline ever since we launched the Advancement Forum back in 2012. What was different this year, though, was the sense of urgency. The topic of engaging the next generation of alumni leaders and volunteers was the surprise number one vote getter, with 70% of our topic poll respondents giving it the top grade. This was true across every segment of the membership, with large privates, small publics, urban Canadian institutions, and rural American schools all in agreement.
