David Vuletich is a Director of Member Education at EAB, responsible for the delivery of strategic and custom research on a variety of higher education industry topics. David spent his first year at the firm as a Senior Consultant on the health care side, focusing on service line growth and investment strategy. However, because of his long-standing enthusiasm for higher education, he switched to EAB in 2017.
David’s expertise in higher education comes from a background that has included numerous touchpoints with the industry. In his post-academia career, David worked for the American Institutes for Research as a content leader on a team tasked with the redesign of a nationally administered professional school admissions test and was a summer Associate at Huron Consulting. Prior to this he worked in the SUNY system at the College at Brockport as both non-tenure track and tenure track Assistant Professor of Biochemistry. During his time at the college, he helped launch a new biochemistry major, won a Cottrell College Science Award that helped fund an undergraduate research program, and led a special taskforce to redesign the chemistry major to ensure on-time graduation for future high school teachers. From these experiences, David has gained an insightful perspective on the challenges facing many higher education stakeholders.
David has earned bachelor’s degrees in astrophysics and chemical physics from Michigan State University, a dual-title Ph.D. in biochemistry and astrobiology from the Pennsylvania State University, and an MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley Direct online program.
