This report examines how three community colleges and five universities promote cultures of creativity and entrepreneurship among staff and faculty members. It describes what models exist to incentivize innovation (both monetary and non-monetary), what resources are necessary to support these models, and how successfully these models stimulate innovation.

Research Questions

  • How do contacts incentivize faculty members to develop innovative educational methods?
  • How do contacts reward faculty members who successfully create educational programs?
  • What financial resources are necessary to maintain incentive and reward programs?
