About the Webconference

Years of stagnating family incomes and disproportionate population growth amongst low income demographics have challenged colleges and universities to attract high quality students while meeting desired levels of financial need. Increasing cost concerns amidst consumers of higher education have spurred institutional investments in transparent net price estimation tools but survey data indicate that as few as 30% of an institution’s prospects make use of these resources. As a result, students are still ruling out institutions based on perceived, rather than actual, cost.

In the first of a three-part webconference series designed for directors of financial aid, we identify surprising pitfalls of typical financial aid communications and opportunities for you and your staff to attract students and boost yield through investments in financial aid transparency and proactive scholarship outreach.
