About the Webconference

Decision support teams (e.g., Institutional Research, Business Intelligence) often struggle to provide true decision support to campus members, largely because one-off requests. Overwhelmed with these low-level requests, decision support is unable to focus on higher-level tasks, such as how to improve data modeling and analyze data.

The first installment in a two-part series on EAB's “Scaling Analytical Capabilities” research, this webconference focuses on the current state of decision support in higher education, and how you can enhance user-friendliness of self-service resources.

This session will help attendees:

  • Understand trends in decision support capabilities and expectations
  • Identify the primary barriers to self-service decision support
  • Enhance the accessibility of basic facts and metrics for campus members
  • Improve navigation of analytical resources to help end users determine which analytical resources may be useful to them
