Summary

Institutions without journalism programs support student media groups—including student newspapers, radio stations, literary magazines, and yearbooks—through the Office of Campus Activities or an equivalent department. This research brief outlines financial support mechanisms for student media programs, as well as advising structures and student media leadership selection processes, at five liberal arts colleges.
