Summary

As colleges and universities seek to meet the needs of transgender students, many are considering adopting gender neutral housing policies. This brief examines the implementation processes for gender neutral housing programs at nine very different institutions. The Council considers policies across institutions, strategies for successful implementation, outcomes of established programs, and assessment measures that institutions have put in place.
